Notetaking Strategy: Two Column Format for Content-Area SubjectsLink: http:www.ldonline.org/ld_indepth/teaching_techniques/two.html An approach to note-taking in which a sheet of paper is divided in half, length-wise. The first column lists specific information such as names, numbers, terms, and topics. The second column lists definitions, explanations, and information related to the information in the first column. At the end of each section, information is reviewed and questions formulated. This format allows for easy review of the information.
